IZIQHAZA

This range is inspired by the Zulu earplug – iziqhaza.  Traditionally, he Iziqhaza was used in ear-piecing ceremonies for children before they reached puberty, symbolising their transition to adulthood.

 

The practice became less common over time and izighaza are now mostly worn as fashion accessories.  Our range is a modern take on the izighaza.  It celebrates life’s transitions:  From past to present;  From old to new;  From dated to trend setting.
